About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Showroom Sales & Service Co-ordinator to join our team at Macfarlane Generators Pty Ltd in Rockingham, WA. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, assisting with in-store sales and coordinating service activities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Greeting and assisting customers in our showroom, understanding their needs and matching them with the right products and services
  • Processing sales transactions, including generating quotes, placing orders and handling customer payments
  • Coordinating the scheduling and delivery of service jobs, liaising with our technical team to ensure prompt and efficient turnaround
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to sales, service jobs and customer enquiries
  • Contributing to the overall success of the showroom through effective inventory management and merchandising
  • Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with our clients

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a similar sales or customer service role, ideally within the Power Generation retail, trade or service industry
  • Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience is required for this position
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Familiarity with sales processes, inventory management and customer relationship management
  • Proficient with relevant computer software and technologies
  • A positive, proactive and customer-focused attitude
  • Trade qualification in mechanical and/or electrical disciplines is required
  • Australian work authorisation is required for this position
