Sales & Events Coordinator
to manage the coordination of weddings, conferences, and private event bookings at our stunning winery. This role involves guiding clients from initial enquiry through to event execution, while also supporting sales and revenue growth through special events and site inspections.
This role is a 12-month parental leave temporary cover. It may lead to ongoing position however will originally be a temporary contract.
The Role

  • Manage wedding and event contracts, booking forms, and client correspondence.
  • Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors to coordinate seamless event execution.
  • Create and distribute detailed run sheets and event orders.
  • Conduct site inspections and host prospective clients on tours of the venue.
  • Process deposits and payments in line with contract terms.
  • Maximise revenue opportunities through yielding and special event creation.
  • Collaborate with kitchen, front-of-house, and operations teams to ensure client expectations are met.
  • Assist in the coordination of special event days.
  • Attend industry events, expos, and sales meetings to promote the venue.
  • The role is part time based on site, but we may consider full time and a hybrid arrangement for the right applicant.

About You

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Knowledge and experience with Opera and MS Office advantageous.
  • Ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full knowledge of conference layouts, AV requirements, and event setups.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Event Coordination or a qualification in Marketing, Events, or Communications.
  • Reliable transport to Yarra Glen.
  • Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating memorable experiences.
