Join our growing team at Bricks Accountants, a dynamic and client-focused accounting firm. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented full-time Accountant to support our expanding portfolio of clients across various industries.
- Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and income tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger
- Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports
- Handle payroll processing and superannuation obligations
- Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients
- Support with year-end and compliance tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce
- Minimum 1 years of experience in Australian public practice (preferred)
- Proficiency in MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
- Strong understanding of GST, payroll, and tax compliance
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- CPA/CA qualification (completed or in progress) is an advantage
