Business Support Officer

Are you a proactive, process-driven professional with a passion for supporting teams and driving smooth business operations? We're looking for a Business Support Officer to join our team and play a key role in enabling organisational success through high-quality administrative, executive, and customer support.
About the Role
As the Business Support Officer, you'll be the go-to person for ensuring the office runs efficiently, leaders are supported, and customers and stakeholders receive excellent service. You'll manage front reception, coordinate meetings and events, assist with purchase orders and invoicing, and contribute to process improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide front reception and phone support with professionalism and warmth
- Deliver executive assistance including diary management and meeting coordination
- Support office operations, supplies, and facilities
- Assist with event planning and logistics
- Prepare agendas, take minutes, and manage meeting documentation
- Raise purchase orders and process invoices accurately
- Maintain records and support reporting using Excel and MS Office
- Contribute to process improvement and administrative systems
- Provide general support across teams with a proactive, can-do attitude
What You'll Bring

- A proactive mindset and alignment with our organisational values
- 3–5 years' experience in administration, executive support, or office coordination
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience with purchase orders and invoicing
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and anticipate needs
- Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (desirable)
