What You Will Get To Do:
The Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst / Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading the development and execution of sourcing strategies across multiple categories. The role focuses on delivering cost savings, enhancing supplier performance, and supporting the company's overall procurement objectives. Success in this position requires advanced analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and strong influencing skills.

  • Develop and implement end-to-end sourcing strategies that align with the organisation's long-term objectives, driving cost savings, quality, efficiency, and value
  • Execute formal RFPs, evaluate bids, and present award recommendations to stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and strategic spend management
  • Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key suppliers
  • Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and foster long-term partnerships that support business goals
  • Analyse complex procurement and spend data to identify trends, forecast demand, and generate actionable insights
  • Lead complex contract negotiations to secure favourable terms while minimising risk
  • Oversee the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, performance, and value optimisation
  • Draft and review contract documents, including Master Agreements, Amendments, Statements of Work, and Non-Disclosure Agreements, where legal input is required
  • Own and manage sourcing for assigned categories or high-value goods and services
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert, delivering strategic guidance and category-specific insights
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, legal, operations, and product development to align sourcing strategies with business needs
  • Support transition planning and lead special projects as needed
  • Engage regularly with business units to stay informed on upcoming projects and contract renewal plans
  • Provide mentorship to junior sourcing analysts, sharing best practices and supporting development
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify skill development opportunities for self and team
  • Act as a thought leader within the sourcing function
  • Lead market intelligence efforts to identify industry trends, benchmark pricing, evaluate new suppliers, and uncover innovation opportunities
  • Proactively assess supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
  • Define and monitor KPIs for supplier performance and internal sourcing processes to support continuous improvement

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 10+ years' experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
  • Proven ability to lead complex sourcing initiatives and global supplier engagements
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Excel and procurement tools (SAP, Oracle, Workday; Smartsheet preferred)
  • Knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier management, contract law, and cost analysis
  • Experience with sustainable/ethical sourcing (preferred)
  • CPSM, CPP, or similar certifications (optional)
  • High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, and conflict resolution skills
