We're searching for an experienced and committed Assistant Manager with extensive QLD gaming operations knowledge to help lead our vibrant team. This is not just a job – it's an opportunity to build a fulfilling long-term role in one of Australia's most spectacular locations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven QLD Gaming operations experience is a MUST – Strong working knowledge of pokies, TAB, Keno, and gaming compliance in Queensland is essential.

  • Longevity and commitment – This is an on-island role requiring someone who is ready to embrace the lifestyle and build a lasting presence in the team.

  • Leadership experience – You've supervised or assisted in managing a high-volume venue, ideally a pub or tavern.

  • Hospitality passion – You love creating great experiences for guests and thrive in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.

  • Licensing ready – RSA, RSG, RMLV, and an open driver's licence are all essential.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Venue Manager in daily operations and team leadership.
  • Oversee and manage gaming operations, ensuring compliance with QLD legislation and delivering seamless guest service.
  • Lead by example, inspire your team, and uphold service excellence.
  • Handle rostering, staff performance, inventory control, and daily compliance checks.
  • Troubleshoot on the fly and deliver fast, professional resolution to issues.
  • Contribute to venue goals around service, revenue, and guest satisfaction.
