The Eczema Association is a not for profit charity and is seeking an organised and reliable Digital Marketing and Communications Officer to join our small but passionate team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on meeting deadlines, and is keen to make a real difference in the lives of people living with eczema.

This is not an IT support role, or a work from home position. Role will be 5 hours daily, Tuesday to Thursday, with scope to increase to full time.

You'll play a key role in growing awareness of our services, promoting membership, and supporting our team with communications, social media and marketing activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and scheduling email campaigns, including nurture sequences
  • Create, proof and schedule social media posts, EDMs and blogs
  • Managing and updating the EAA website via WordPress, adding new pages, content, blogs, resources etc
  • Creating, editing and updating professional quality resources using Canva, such as information sheets, booklets, and other resource materials
  • Social media campaigns, Facebook group administration, and community engagement on social media platforms
  • Marketing to drive membership growth and community awareness
  • Providing marketing and communication support to other team members across projects
  • Undertaking general administrative tasks as required

About you:

  • You're an excellent communicator – both written and verbal
  • You're professional, reliable, and highly organised
  • You bring a positive, can-do attitude and are passionate about helping others

Essential skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing, communications & social media
  • Proficient with MailChimp, including automations and campaign management
  • Confident using WordPress for website updates and maintenance
  • Experience designing documents and resources in Canva Professional
  • Experience managing social media platforms and Facebook groups
  • Paid social media campaigns, generating statistics & reports and statistics

Essential requirements:

  • A current driver's licence
  • Willingness to undergo a police check
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Hours & Flexibility:

  • 3 days per week (15 hours weekly, 5 hours a day, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
  • Potential to grow to 21 hours weekly over time, then full time as we grow

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Temp to perm

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
