We're seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join the team for an immediate start at our Moorabbin warehouse.

We are a small, agile and enthusiastic team amid a fast-paced, challenging environment. Practically all staff are cross-functional, from customer service, sales and warehouse management. *** Please note: This role requires a tech-savvy detail-oriented individual, capable of self-troubleshooting IT related issues. The role heavily relies on navigating an ERP system (odoo), ecommerce system (Magento) spreadsheets, password managers, the use of smart phones, printers and scanners. As a small team without a dedicated IT department, this role will not suit you if you are unable to troubleshoot through IT systems. ***

Qualifications & experience

  • Experience working within a warehouse environment
  • Enjoys practical and manual activities
  • Experience with ERP or warehouse/inventory management systems
  • Ability to physically handle stock including lifting, picking and packing
  • Licence to perform High Risk work (Forklift) is a bonus

Tasks & responsibilities

  • A critical, key role in daily warehouse receiving and dispatch operations, including receivables, storage, production, and dispatch of products/inventory.
  • Monitoring all aspects of the warehouse operations including inventory, purchasing, receipts/dispatches, stock levels, returns, customer and supplier liaising, and safety & hazard identification.
  • Picking and Packing - using your eye for detail, you'll be working on our established online retail business, reviewing customer orders, picking from the shelves and packing/dispatching them via AusPost/couriers.
  • Maintain inventory management, cycle counting and accurate ERP based record keeping
  • Maintaining a neat, clean and tidy warehouse environment
  • All other duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.00 – $34.00 per hour
