We're currently seeking Locomotive Provisioning Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy detail-focused, hands-on work in a rail yard environment. If you're safety-conscious, reliable, and want to grow your career in the rail industry, we want to hear from you.

Job Requirements

As an LPA, you'll play a key role in maintaining the safety and integrity of freight train operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and reporting defects or irregularities
  • Completing required documentation and using systems like TMS to input data
  • Performing inspections in terminals, yards
  • Supporting terminal locomotive operations (where required and trained)

Job Responsibilities

We're looking for individuals who are:

  • Safety-focused, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions
  • Comfortable following structured processes and procedures
  • Clear communicators and good team players
  • Willing to complete required training and certifications

To be successful, you must:

  • Hold Below TLI Units:
  • TLID0020 Shift material safely using manual handling methods
  • TLIF0025 Follow work health and safety procedures
  • TLIF2010 Apply fatigue management strategies
  • TLIB3118 Apply awareness of railway fundamentals
  • TLIF2006 Apply accident emergency procedures
  • TLIF0020 Safely access the rail corridor
  • Be able to pass a CAT 1 Rail Medical and Drug & Alcohol test
  • Have or be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance
  • Hold a valid C Class Driver's Licence

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Forklift licence
