  • Fulltime maximum term position to 01 January 2027, based at our Little Collins Street (HQ) office
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the planning and organisation of public relations, community relations programs, events and sponsorships

About the role:

The Marketing and Communication Assistant assists with internal and external marketing and communications content and campaign administration through various mediums.

To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar field; AND/OR Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar (Marketing / Communication support) position
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft and present information in a logical manner for a diverse audience
  • Ability to work in Client Relationship Management databases
  • Ability to develop copy and graphics for external audiences
  • Excellent understanding of the application of key marketing principles such as social media and traditional marketing, EDM, SEO and brand voice
  • Demonstrated knowledge of a range of current social media and communication platforms
  • Ability to liaise with key stakeholders to understand their requirements
  • Strong computer skills including common graphic design, video editing and web publishing packages , MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently
  • Positive attitude toward work and the ability to provide a high level of customer service for the Unit
