Learn to Trade Pty Ltd holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and delivers world-class trading education and software solutions. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to manage and enhance our AFSL compliance program.
About the Role
Reporting to the Responsible Managers and the Board, you'll ensure Learn to Trade meets all ASIC and AFSL obligations. You'll oversee compliance documentation, monitoring, and reporting while providing guidance on regulatory developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage AFSL compliance frameworks and registers.
- Monitor ASIC lodgement deadlines, financial reporting, and audit requirements.
- Review marketing, client disclosure, and onboarding documentation.
- Handle complaints and reportable incidents under RG 271 and RG 78.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct quarterly monitoring and report findings to the Board.
- Provide staff training and advice on regulatory and legal updates.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in AFSL compliance.
- Strong knowledge of ASIC requirements and the Corporations Act 2001.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills.
- Confident working independently and reporting to senior leadership.
