About

Join a reputable and positive growth story dedicated to providing essential health care services. With a rich history of providing health care and services, our legacy is built on a commitment to helping individuals and families thrive. We are an independent entity, offering a wide range of services including residential aged care at our metropolitan facilities, a comprehensive home care program, and innovative housing solutions. Our mission is to create a community where everyone can live with dignity and independence.

We have built a culture that's focused on growth without sacrificing balance. Our corporate team is ambitious and dedicated to professional development, but we know that great work comes from people who are supported and respected. You will find a friendly, collaborative environment where everyone is focused on delivering results - we're serious about our work, but we ensure it's a great place to be.

The Opportunity

This is a pivotal HR systems role focused on successfully closing out the implementation of our Dayforce platform. Operating within our dedicated People & Culture team, you will be responsible for resolving, testing, managing outstanding issues, and creating essential documentation, ensuring a seamless transition to sustained, efficient operations.

This hands-on opportunity is perfect for a Dayforce expert or HRIS systems analyst and solutions-focused individual who excels at problem-solving and thrives on process improvement. You will be the primary contact for a range of internal and external stakeholders across HR, payroll, and operations, making your expertise critical for enhancing our people-centric services for a vital not-for-profit.

What You'll Do

This role will manage the transition from hypercare and onboarding to support by performing hands break fix, configuration and process optimisation. You'll also ensure accurate reporting and data integrity, while building team capability through knowledge transfer and documentation through the following responsibilities:

  • Triage, investigate, and perform root cause analysis on escalated system issues, moving beyond simple fixes to identify and resolve underlying problems.
  • Manage the end-to-end support lifecycle via our ticketing system: from logging and prioritisation to testing, resolution, and communication with end-users.
  • Act as the key liaison between our internal teams (HR, Payroll, Technology) and the Dayforce vendor for complex ticket resolution.

  • Partner with HR and Payroll stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for system enhancements and configuration changes.

  • Perform hands-on configuration within Dayforce modules to refine business processes, rules, and workflows.
  • Participate in testing and evaluating new Dayforce features and release updates, assessing their impact and benefit to the organisation.

  • Validate and improve key operational reports, investigating data discrepancies to ensure outputs are accurate, reliable, and meet business requirements.

  • Develop custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for HR and business leaders.
  • Champion system knowledge within the Technology, HR and Payroll teams, moving them from reliance on the project team to confident system users.
  • Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation and training, including user guides, process maps, and configuration workbooks.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate is an experienced HR Systems Analyst with deep, hands-on expertise in Dayforce or other relevant HRIS platforms. You must possess configuration skills, particularly within the Core HR and Payroll modules, and have proven expertise in building and troubleshooting and reporting through HR systems. This technical knowledge will be supported by a comprehensive understanding of Australian HR and payroll principles, including modern awards, pay structures, and leave entitlements. Analytical and problem-solving abilities are key to these projects, coupled with strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for stakeholders. Experience with Dayforce modules, workflows, and navigating a post-implementation or hypercare environment will be highly regarded.

Why Join Us

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible and immediate impact on our business. Joining us at this pivotal moment, you won't just be maintaining a system - you'll be the expert who stabilises, optimises, and shapes the future of our new Dayforce platform. This role offers a dynamic blend of technical problem-solving and strategic improvement, with the autonomy to implement effective solutions. You'll partner with a supportive HR team that is eager for your expertise, all while enjoying the flexibility and work-life balance contract or part time roles provide. If you thrive on making systems work better and empowering people, this is the perfect role for you.

Not sure if you meet these requirements? Please apply — we are happy to discuss your individual circumstances.
