Are you ready to make a splash in the world of ice skating? We're looking for a fun, energetic, and reliable Ice Arena Supervisor's to join our team at Cockburn Ice Arena. This is a casual position for our energetic night sessions and busy weekend days. There's potential for extra shifts in the days and school holidays too If you're looking for a role that offers you a little bit more on top of a current role, a great work-life balance and the chance to be part of a vibrant recreational facility, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead, support, and provide direction to our team members across reception, café, and rink areas.
  • Supervise our rink techs, including skate hire, DJ, ice marshals, and party hosts, to ensure the ice arena runs like clockwork.
  • Be the go-to person for handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in a fun, fast-paced environment.
  • Oversee public skating sessions and ensure smooth operations behind the scenes.
  • Be a first responder to injuries and coordinate first aid support with confidence.
  • Open up the facility, set up for events, birthday parties, and skating sessions.
  • Lend a hand in ice resurfacing with our Senior Rink Area Technicians.
  • Keep the arena clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven leadership experience – you've successfully managed teams before and enjoy being hands-on.
  • Fantastic communication and teamwork skills.
  • Night and Weekend availability is a must.
  • Ability to jump into the action and engage with customers during peak times.
  • Eager to learn the art of operating the Zamboni – who doesn't want to ride that cool machine?
  • A valid driver's license and a Senior First Aid Certificate (and the confidence to use it when needed).
  • Bonus points for having a forklift license (not essential, but desirable).
  • A Working with Children Check (WA) and a National Police Clearance.
