PR Manager
in Sydney, to join the Consumer Team of our System Business Group, reporting to the B2C Marketing Manager - SYS BG.
This role will drive the PR strategy and direction for the ASUS ANZ System Consumer business.
Key aspects of the role include but not limited to:
PR Strategy & Execution
- Strategise and execute an effective ANZ PR strategy and a plan that delivers on business objectives;
- Understand business and media trends for relevant industry segments, products, and competitors. Tap into key industry events and topics in trend – and associate ASUS brand where relevant;
- Own and manage end-to-end media seeding programs to generate quality media reviews and exposure;
- Plan, manage and execute product launches in conjunction with the Product Marketing Team and PR agency (both global and local launches);
- Foster and maintain in-depth relationships with both technology and lifestyle media;
- Determine KPIs for each PR activity and develop PR tactics to achieve them. Provide effective measurement and evaluation for all PR activities, supported by insightful reports to the wider business;
- Review and manage effective engagement with the local PR agency and their deliverables;
- Liaise with global and regional communications team to receive updates, reports, collaborate on global projects and share best practice;
KOL Management
- Drive the KOL strategy & execution for the ASUS & ROG brands;
- Recruit and leverage industry KOLs to drive key product value propositions within ANZ;
- Help set clear KPIs & objectives for ASUS & ROG KOLs.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in communications / public relations with 7+ years of PR experience within the IT / Tech Industry
- Industry contacts within the tech and lifestyle media / KOLs with proven abilities to generate coverage
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Media events / product launch event management experience
- A real passion for working with companies within the tech industry
- Enjoy being an opinion leader and product evangelist
- Build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as be an active team player
- Australian citizen or permanent resident with unlimited working rights within Australia, no overseas applicants.
