NVC Group is seeking a community personal care workers to support our aged care clients across the Nambucca Valley Area. We are looking for someone experienced in an aged care or community setting and passionate about delivery quality care to our clients.

In this role you will assist our elderly clients in their homes with essential and practical services helping them to live independently and improve quality of life.  The position will commence as casual approximately 12-25 hours a week with the opportunity to move into a permanent part-time role and increased hours when the opportunity arises. Day shifts only. Weekend work is available for those who choose to.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assistance with personal care – showering and dressing

· Social visits, welfare checking and medication prompting

· Domestic assistance around the home

· Assistance with shopping and social outings

· Providing transportation

Essential Criteria:

· Cert III in Individual support or Aged Care

· Current first aid and CPR certificate

· Great teamwork and communication skills

· Driver's licence

· Suitable car for transporting clients including comprehensive insurance

· Provide a current (within 3 months) police check

· Basic written and technology skills

· Ability to pass competencies on manual handling (transferring clients, stand up hoists, use of slide sheets, using mobility aids)
