We are looking for:

Finity Consulting is Australia's largest independent actuarial and analytical consulting firm and a leader in the development of data-driven insights. We work with both large and niche insurers, as well as government agencies, using best practice analytics and cutting-edge techniques to deliver world class advice. Powered by smart, results-orientated people we provide our consultants with the opportunity to work on a challenging and interesting business problems with a broad client base to develop their skills and grow their career.

We are looking for a casual legal intern to assist with conducting legal research for our project teams working 1.5 days a week based in our Sydney Office.

Key responsibilities will involve:

  • Investigating, reviewing insurance legislation, court decisions and insurance policies
  • Extracting and compiling relevant information
  • Recording details of research through accurate data entry onto database
  • Creating summaries on spreadsheets
  • Supporting Finity's Legal and Compliance Manager

A bit about you:

  • Currently completing a law degree (must be second year or above)
  • Legal research and document management skills
  • Basic Excel Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Confidence communicating with colleagues
