The Finance Lead role at Ronald McDonald House Charities South & Central Australia (RMHCSCA) is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in managing the overall finance and payroll functions of our business.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Finance Lead will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all aspects of payroll, FBT, superannuation and GST requirements
  • Overseeing all aspects of End of Month, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and credit control
  • Utilizing financial systems and reporting mechanisms to provide accurate financials, budgets, forecasting, cash flow and board reports.
  • Providing technical support, expertise, finance function resources and financial data to department managers and leaders for preparation of budget submissions, business cases, program evaluation and cost modelling activities.
  • Providing appropriate, high level, reliable and trusted financial management and accounting advice to all stakeholders
  • Working collaboratively with the CEO to prudently manage the Chapters financial resources, budget and risk.
  • Completing all financial, statistical and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Collaborating with the Auditors to prepare annual audited financial statements
  • Driving improvement initiatives and projects related to financial systems, processes and policies.

THE CANDIDATE:

To secure this role the ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar
  • CPA or CA qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector is preferred, but not essential
  • Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
