  • Write detailed position descriptions and marketing materials to promote the opportunity to prospective candidates.
  • Write position advertisements when necessary.
  • Proactively approach prospects utilising various channels including cold calling to entice them to consider new opportunities.
  • Conduct in-depth phone screening to pre-qualify prospective candidates according to the client's requirements to create a longlist.
  • Calibrate candidates with the client to further test and hone the search parameters.
  • Conduct in-depth face-to-face interviews to evaluate prospective candidates against key functional and behavioural competencies.
  • Maintain progress, status, and market feedback reports for presentation to the Managing Director as well as to the Client.
  • Write candidate reports for presentation to the client with the shortlisted candidates.
  • Maintain the accuracy, quality, and integrity of all search information in the database.

Who you are:

The successful individual will be a degree qualified, collegiate and professionally confident Senior Associate (or similar) within a domestic or international Executive Search Business. You will have outstanding organisational, project and time management skills and a desire to provide all stakeholders with excellence in client service. You have a high attention to detail and the ability to build substantial and meaningful relationships with C-Level candidates and clients, providing advice and direction along the way. Your ability to effectively source, approach and engage with senior prospects will be a critical success factor.

Some of the competencies necessary for success in this role include:

  • Able to effectively context-shift between strategic thinking and hands-on detailed work.
