**Intermediate Accountant – Business Services 

Brisbane | Full-time | $90k–$100k + Super**

Join a well-established business services team where you'll work directly with a diverse portfolio of clients, build lasting professional relationships, and develop your expertise in both compliance and advisory.

The Opportunity

This role offers the ideal balance of technical accounting work and meaningful client interaction. You'll be trusted to prepare high-quality financial statements and returns while also contributing to strategic tax planning and business advisory services. You'll gain exposure to a variety of industries and entity types, ensuring every day is professionally challenging and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements, BAS, IAS, and FBT returns for individuals, companies, and trusts
  • Assist in tax planning and advisory engagements for SMEs and family groups
  • Liaise directly with clients to gather information and provide clear guidance
  • Maintain accurate financial records in line with compliance requirements
  • Stay current with accounting standards and taxation legislation

About You:

  • Degree qualified in Accounting (or nearing completion)
  • 3+ years' experience in business services or public practice accounting
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy
  • A proactive, professional approach to client service
