CEL Accountants of CEL Group is based in Upper Mount Gravatt. Our mission is to constantly provide the highest standard professional services to our clients.

The Role:

Our accounting department is expanding and seeking enthusiastic, dynamic and committed graduate and intermediate Accountants to join the accounting team on a permanent basis to commence immediately.

This role will include training in bookkeeping, preparation of financial reports, income tax returns, business activity statements (BAS). Weekly in house training will be provided by the company, you will gain both technical skills in accounting software and bookkeeping, as well as professional knowledge in taxation and business investment. You will work with other CPA qualified professionals as a Team.

Duties to be performed include the following areas:

  • Preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships & SMSF
  • Preparation of Quarterly Business Activity Statements/IAS
  • Attending client queries regarding taxation matters
  • Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements of the Role:

  • Degree in Accounting
  • MUST be fluent in English (bilingual in Mandarin welcome)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
  • Capacity to learn new technical skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Professional attitude and good communication skills
  • Team player
