About the Role

We're seeking a proactive and capable HR Generalist to join our team as the sole HR resource, reporting directly to the COO. This is a hands-on role that blends day-to-day HR operations with opportunities to contribute to strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain our HRIS (Employment Hero)
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
  • Coordinate internal training and staff development programs
  • Participate in strategic projects
  • Support and participate in our Wellness Committee initiatives
  • Oversee WHS compliance and reporting
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures
  • Provide timely and professional HR advice

About You

You're a confident and empathetic HR generalist who thrives in a professional environment and enjoys working independently. You bring a strong understanding of employment law and a genuine interest in supporting people.

What You'll Bring

  • Qualification in Human Resources or a related field
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation
  • Professional and empathetic approach to staff interactions
