Experienced Medical Receptionist –

Medical Centre (Dulwich Hill NSW)

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team at a busy Medical Centre located in Dulwich Hill.

About the Role:

This position is ideal for someone who is organised, reliable, and enjoys working in a patient-focused environment. You will be responsible for providing efficient reception and administrative support to our doctors and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and assisting patients in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Managing appointments and patient records using PracSoft and Medical Director
  • Processing Medicare and private billings
  • Supporting General Practioners and clinical staff with day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Maintaining confidentiality and high standards of patient care
  • Assisting with practice accreditation requirements and compliance processes

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist in a Medical Centre and understanding of Medicare billing processes
  • Proficiency in Medical Director and PracSoft
  • Knowledge and understanding of general practice accreditation standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • A caring and professional attitude towards patients and colleagues
