Candela Nuevo, Melbourne's premier private members club, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Venue Manager to join our elite team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work in a luxurious environment, catering to a discerning clientele.

As the Venue Manager of Candela Nuevo, you will be at the helm of one of Melbourne's most exclusive private members' clubs. This role is not just a job, but a prestigious position that offers the chance to lead and shape the experience of an elite clientele. It's a rare opportunity to manage a team in a luxurious environment, showcasing your skills in high-end hospitality and private club management.

Key Responsabilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the club, ensuring exceptional service standards.
  • Manage and train a team of dedicated staff.
  • Coordinate events and functions, ensuring a memorable experience for members.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance member satisfaction and club profitability.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manage inventory effectively, including our extensive fine wines, high-end spirits, rare whiskies, and the largest Cuban cigar collection in Australia.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in high-end hospitality or private club management.
  • Extensive knowledge of fine wines and high-end spirits.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering outstanding service.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and club management software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
