The Digital Customer (Smart Service Queensland) team within the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (CDSB) provides digitally enabled whole-of-government services to the Queensland public through multiple channels including phone, counter and online. This stream brings together technology, development, products, design, engagement, and operations to deliver simpler connected services.

This position is part of the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (CDSB) as part of the recent Machinery-of-Government changes. CDSB is currently in negotiations for a certified agreement to cover all CDSB employees. In the meantime, the Core Agreement conditions apply to this position.

As The Content Management Officer, You Will

  • Produce, maintain, and improve content for high-profile Queensland Government services, campaigns and disaster recovery related activities whilst ensuring service quality and compliance with writing and style guides.
  • Design customer centric content using content management and design thinking principles.
  • Identify and resolve complex risks and issues related to the delivery of multi channel content and the associated utility and usability that supports Government while maintaining stakeholder goals and objectives.
  • Provide content design advice, feedback, training, and consultative services to stakeholders.
  • Engage with partners to identify opportunities to improve service delivery and customer experience.
  • Participate and facilitate workshops focusing on the identification, validation and shared understanding of customer behaviour and preferences.
  • Contribute to the development of team members and Digital Customer (SSQ) staff through active involvement in succession planning activities.
  • Build strong relationships and networks with partners through participation in relevant forums.
  • Develop and maintain a professional knowledge of latest trends, best practice models and contemporary practices related to digital and assisted support service delivery.
