Are you a passionate educator with a knack for creating engaging Mathematics resources? Ready to make a real impact beyond the classroom?
At Teach Starter, part of Tes Global, we're on a mission to create unforgettable learning experiences that inspire students and give teachers precious time back.
About the Role
- As a Content Producer, you'll play a pivotal role to help shape our growing library of primary Mathematics resources. You'll bring your deep understanding of primary Mathematics and classroom pedagogy to life—crafting resources that spark curiosity, support diverse learners, and save teachers time.
You'll join a collaborative team of Content Producers, educators, designers, and freelancers to curate, commission, and optimise content that aligns with curriculum standards and classroom needs.
You'll blend deep subject knowledge, pedagogical expertise, and content management skills to craft resources that not only align to curriculum standards but also make mathematics engaging, accessible and meaningful.
What you'll be doing:
- Curate and commission high-quality, curriculum-aligned Mathematics resources that captivate students and support teacher success.
- Identify gaps in our resource library and collaborate to address the evolving needs of educators.
- Ensure all Mathematics content is SEO-optimised, valuable to teachers, inclusive and aligned with our strategic goals for growth and impact.
- Use data, feedback, and educational trends to guide resource development.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects that elevate teaching and transform learning.
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of primary teaching experience and certification in Mathematics.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Curriculum Development, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualifications or professional development in education, SEO, content design, or digital publishing (a bonus)
- Strong knowledge of Australian curriculum standards and inclusive education practices.
- Extensive content knowledge in primary Mathematics, extending beyond classroom teaching, with demonstrated ability to develop, curate, and manage high-quality instructional content.
- Proven ability to create engaging teaching materials using tools like Google Suite, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience writing and editing SEO-optimised web copy for educational resources, with a focus on enhancing discoverability and engagement (preferred but not required).
- Experience managing freelancers or cross-functional teams, including briefing, feedback and production timelines (preferred but not required).
- Experience with content production and content management systems (CMS) (preferred but not required).
- A collaborative mindset and passion for improving education through content.
Being part of the Tes team will offer you a rewarding experience including:
- Flexibility and hybrid working environment for work-life balance
- Extra week annual leave – that's 26 days/year to enjoy
- Personal and professional development opportunities with learning allowances
- Working with a friendly and supportive team where our colleagues care as much as we do
- Enhanced Paid Parental Leave
- Retail/local area shopping discounts program
- State of the art city fringe offices
- EAP (Employee assistance programme)
- Monthly Tes Social events
- Access to an extensive Learning and Development menu
This role is based working from our Brisbane office in Milton. It's a hybrid position - working 3 days from the office and 2 days from home.
If you are eager to make a meaningful impact on education and believe you have the enthusiasm and skills to be successful in this role, we invite you to join us at Tes.
