Junior Accountant

Due to the rapid growth and success of our business, we're expanding our Tax Team in Liverpool. Reporting to the Tax Team Leader, you will support a portfolio of small business customers, ensuring they have set their finances up for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in tax compliance for individual and business clients. Review tax returns, resolve discrepancies, and optimize tax strategies.
• Preparation of all periodic tax returns and compliance reporting (Company, Partnership, Trust, FBT)
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, conduct research on tax-related issues, and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Ensuring timely and professional communication, therefore building strong relationships with your clients

Requirements

• Degree qualification minimum of TAFE certificate in accounting.
• Must be proficient in SAGE, and QuickBook payroll.
• Proven ability to delegate, manage and review outsourced work
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
• Ideally experienced in managing a portfolio of clients
• Great written and verbal communication skills. This role will require a high level of verbal communication with your peers, leadership and clients
• Preferred if you speak Arabic.

Salary

• $40k- $55k salary super inclusive. (depending on relevant experience)
