In this role, you'll:
Join Sydney Metro's Products and Platforms team as a specialist supporting our enterprise project controls systems, with a strong focus on Oracle Primavera P6 and Primavera Unifier. You'll play a key role in keeping these critical platforms stable, reliable, and continuously improving.

You will provide second- and third-line technical support, troubleshoot complex issues across configurations, workflows, integrations, and databases, and ensure system performance and availability remain high. You'll proactively monitor and analyse system behaviour to prevent incidents and drive long-term stability.

Working closely with project controls, PMO, Service Integration, and external suppliers, you'll contribute to solution design, manage change across Dev/Test/Prod environments, and support controlled, well-tested deployments. You'll help uplift the platform through enhancements, optimisation initiatives, and agile delivery cycles.

You'll also maintain clear technical documentation, support knowledge sharing, and help ensure users get the best value from Primavera tools across the organisation.

This role is a Fixed-term, full-time role contract until 30/06/2026, Hybrid work model, team works from 680 George Street Sydney

About you
You bring strong technical capability and experience across enterprise project controls or workflow platforms, with direct experience in Primavera P6 and/or Primavera Unifier a significant advantage. You can demonstrate:

·Hands-on experience administering and configuring complex project controls or enterprise workflow platforms — Primavera expertise highly desirable.

·Ability to design and build configurable business processes, custom forms, and workflows, ideally in Primavera Unifier or similar platforms.

·Experience developing enterprise-grade reports (e.g., BI Publisher) and dashboards aligned to project and business reporting needs.

·Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting, reporting, and performing data updates — experience with P6 or Unifier schema is a strong advantage.

·Understanding of full lifecycle system administration, including access management, enterprise structures, global settings, and integrations — P6 admin experience strongly preferred.

·Experience supporting multi-environment setups (Dev/Test/Prod), including change control, release management, and system testing.

·Ability to troubleshoot issues end-to-end across workflows, UI, configurations, and databases — ideally within Primavera P6 or Unifier.

·Experience working with PMO, project controls, or commercial teams to translate business requirements into system configurations.

·Familiarity with enterprise integrations using APIs, web services, or data connectors — especially involving P6 or Unifier.

·Strong documentation, training, and user-support capabilities, with a proactive approach to knowledge sharing.
