Summary:

We require a highly skilled and experienced infrastructure engineer to serve as a dedicated escalation point for our current Network Project. Responsibilities include resolving complex technical issues, answering technical questions, and providing expert guidance on Fortinet SD-WAN, FortiGate, Azure NVA deployments, FortiClient, FortiSASE, and FortiSandbox. We expect the infrastructure engineer to possess deep product knowledge, exceptional troubleshooting abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring timely resolution of any challenges that may arise during the project's implementation and beyond. The role is crucial in maintaining project momentum, minimizing downtime, and ensuring the successful deployment and ongoing operation of our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of the organization
  • Manage and maintain the organization's servers, storage, and network infrastructure
  • Ensure that all systems are secure and compliant with industry standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues as they arise
  • Collaborate with other members of the IT team to ensure that all systems are integrated and working together seamlessly
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all infrastructure systems and processes
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure that our infrastructure remains cutting-edge

Qualifications:

  • Baseline security clearance or higher.
  • Demonstrated Network Experience: Proven experience working in a contemporary, secure ICT environment with expertise in technical services, particularly in:
  1. Azure Cloud Infrastructure
  2. FortiGate Firewalls
  3. Fortinet SD-WAN
  4. Fortinet Azure NVA deployments
  5. FortiClient
  6. FortiSASE
  7. FortiSandbox
  • Communication Skills: Highly developed written and oral communication skills, especially in discussing technical and strategic matters with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated high level of attention to detail, including the ability to write detailed technical documentation.
  • Network Mapping: Ability to map data movements across network zones and cross-domain environments.
  • Visio Proficiency: Strong skills in creating detailed network diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
