About the role

We are seeking an
M365 Connectivity & Integration Engineer
to configure and support standalone Microsoft 365 environments and enable secure partner collaboration. You will work across setup, connectivity, onboarding, and troubleshooting activities to ensure a seamless and secure experience for government users, partners, and external organisations.

This is a hands-on technical role with a strong emphasis on connectivity patterns, external access, and secure collaboration enablement.

Key responsibilities

  • Deploy and configure
    standalone M365 environments
    for specific use cases.
  • Enable
    secure connectivity
    for partner organisations and external users.
  • Support onboarding and enablement of
    new partner organisations
    .
  • Troubleshoot
    connectivity, access, and external sharing issues
    .
  • Maintain technical documentation and configuration standards.

Extended technical responsibilities

  • Design and optimise
    connectivity patterns and performance
    .
  • Implement
    secure access and proxy integration
    .
  • Configure
    Teams shared channels
    and
    guest access
    .
  • Enforce governance for
    SharePoint/OneDrive external sharing
    .

Skills & experience

  • Hands-on experience deploying and configuring
    M365 environments
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    connectivity, external access, and proxy integration
    .
  • Experience with
    Teams shared channels, guest access, and external collaboration models
    .
  • Familiarity with
    SharePoint/OneDrive external sharing governance
    .
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex
    connectivity and access issues
    .
  • Australian citizenship with an active security clearance (NV1 or higher)
    is essential.
