Position: Property Manager / Business Development Associate (Hybrid Sales & Rentals)

Location: Officer / Pakenham & surrounds

Work Type: Full-time | Hybrid (2 days WFH, 3 days in office)

Reports To: Marcus Washington – Director, Area Specialist

Salary: Competitive base + Commission opportunities


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Property Manager looking to take the next step in their career. Join Area Specialist and work directly with Marcus Washington across both Property Management and Sales, gaining exposure to what it takes to succeed in both areas.

We're looking for someone who wants more than just a job — someone eager to grow with the business, take on leadership and business development responsibilities, and be part of the next stage of our company's growth.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day property management tasks, including:

  • Onboarding new managements

  • Coordinating leasing and open homes
  • Conducting ingoing and outgoing condition reports
  • Managing maintenance requests and trade relationships
  • Providing excellent communication and service to landlords and tenants
  • Assist with new business and property growth within the department
  • Collaborate closely with Marcus to gain sales experience and business development insight
  • Participate in occasional Saturday opens (approx. 1 per month – negotiable)
  • Contribute to team culture, strategy, and growth initiatives

About You
  • 2–5 years' experience in residential property management
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy and confident with property management software and Microsoft 365
  • Positive, solution-focused attitude
  • Growth mindset — keen to learn and expand your skillset into sales and business development
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a flexible team environment
