Day to day of the job
Design and deliver learning that drives performance: Create effective training programs that realise commercial outcomes, drive business growth, and align sales teams on commercial priorities.
- Lead end-to-end capability design: Own the full design lifecycle — from needs analysis and solution design through to pilot, delivery, and measurement of impact.
- Develop learning experiences that shift behaviour: Design and facilitate programs that build technical and behavioural capability, challenge individual thinking, and lift sales effectiveness.
- Champion REA's sales philosophy: Embed customer-centric thinking and value-based conversations throughout all learning experiences.
- Onboard, enable and inspire sales teams: Deliver high-impact onboarding and continuous development for salespeople of all levels, across face-to-face and virtual environments.
- Foster a simulation and coaching culture: Create opportunities for practice through simulations, role plays, and observation-based coaching. Work with Sales Managers to lift capability through feedback, modelling and coaching moments.
- Partner and co-design: Collaborate with leaders, subject matter experts, and colleagues in the Customer Excellence team to co-design programs that support strategic initiatives (e.g. pricing changes, new product launches, sales transformation).
- Leverage modern learning methods: Blend trainer-led sessions, self-paced learning, and digital resources for flexible, scalable learning delivery.
- Create high-quality content and tools: Develop facilitation guides, playbooks, presentations, toolkits, and job aids that reinforce learning and enable ongoing skill application.
- Be in the field: Spend time with sales teams and leaders to observe, coach, and provide feedback that drives real-world performance uplift.
- Diagnose and prioritise capability needs: Conduct learning needs analyses and define capability frameworks that inform annual learning plans and performance outcomes.
- Measure and report impact: Evaluate learning effectiveness through data, feedback, and performance metrics, ensuring programs are continuously improved and tied to commercial results.
