Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Baker located in Merimbula, NSW. The Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of goods, including bread, cookies, and other bakery items. The Baker will follow established recipes, ensure the quality and consistency of products, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Daily tasks will include measuring and mixing ingredients, monitoring oven temperatures, and decorating baked goods as required. The Baker will also be responsible for maintaining inventory and ordering supplies when needed.

Qualifications

  • Skilled in Bakery, Baking, and Food Preparation
  • Experience in making Tarts, Donuts and Bread, etc.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Previous baking experience is preferred
  • Food safety and hygiene certification is a plus
