Head Baker

**About us**

Located in the heart of Prahran Market, Q Le BAKER is an artisan bakery with a focus on quality and locally sourced ingredients. We specialise in sourdough bread and artisanal baked goods. We are looking for an experienced HEAD BAKER to join the team.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working within a small team, has great time management and loves hospitality.

Experience is essential so you will have at least 2 years experience as a Head Baker or similar role in an Artisan bakery. In addition you will have:

- Love and passion for sourdough breads and artisanal pastries
- Experience in scaled bread production
- Must be able to work weekends on a rotating roster
- Creativity for product development
- Exceptional communication
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and lead a team
- Demonstrate positive attitude and genuine interest in the day to day operations
- Understanding of Hygiene, Food Safety and OH&S standards and compliance
- Use correct techniques and follow procedures and recipes when preparing our range of products
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience in ARTISAN BAKERIES

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- SOUTH YARRA, VIC 3141: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
