The Position:
Darling Group is looking for an experienced baker to join its busy Production Kitchen that supplies artisan bread, pastries, cakes and chocolate to all Group venues. Demi Chef or CDP level. The responsibilities include;
- Mixing, shaping, and baking the highest quality of all baked goods consistently, including but not limited to artisan breads and rolls, muffins, laminated dough, and doughnuts.
- Quality control, rejecting any products that are not up to par
- Assist with managing production schedule, maintaining stock levels and keeping waste to a minimum
- Work as part of a team to deliver the highest quality products and develop our range.

The successful applicant must show a high level of knowledge in artisan baking and pastry making with around 2 years experience in similar role. The applicant will need to be a positive person who is team oriented, self-motivated and takes personal pride in producing quality food on a daily basis. Well-organised, methodical and being able to demonstrate a strong work ethic in previous roles are a must.

Flexible shift times (may include day time baking shift).
