Broker Support Officer

Your Loan Guy is looking for an exceptional Broker Support Officer on a Part Time basis. We are an established Mortgage Broker in Rockhampton and have been operating locally since 2021. We provide high quality service to clients needing assistance with anything Home Loan related.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client & Broker Support
· Assist mortgage brokers with preparation of loan applications and supporting documentation.
· Communicate with clients to collect necessary information, forms, and identification.
· Provide updates to clients regarding the progress of their loan applications.
· Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all client interactions.
Loan Administration
· Enter and maintain client data accurately in CRM and lender systems.
· Prepare, review, and submit loan files to lenders in line with compliance and lender requirements.
· Track and follow up on loan application status, ensuring timely progress through each stage.
· Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and other third parties to coordinate settlements and required documents.
Compliance & Documentation
· Ensure all applications meet compliance standards and company policies.
· Assist with preparing compliance checklists, disclosure documents, and file audits.
· Keep digital client files organised and up to date.
Office & Administrative Tasks
· Manage emails, phone calls, and general correspondence on behalf of the brokers.
· Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings.
· Support marketing and client communication efforts (e.g. newsletters, follow-ups).
· Maintain an organised workflow to help brokers focus on client relationship management.
System & Data Management
· Update CRM systems with client interactions, application notes, and pipeline progress.
· Generate reports on loan status, settlements, and performance metrics as needed.
· Assist with maintaining accurate databases for marketing and compliance purposes.
Team Collaboration
· Work closely with brokers to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
· Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
· Support the onboarding of new clients and provide post-settlement assistance where required.
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision.
· Understanding of mortgage processes and compliance obligations would be beneficial but not essential
