Synergie is seeking an Administration Officer – Equipment & Contracts for a Queensland Government Department located in Rockhampton.


The important parts:


• Full-time, temporary position – Monday to Friday

What you will be required to do:

This role provides critical administrative and operational support across contracts and equipment management, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and responsive service delivery.

• Accurately update equipment data to support tenders, variations, and ongoing management in Excel

• Manage repairs, work orders, and contractor communications across multiple contracts

• Conduct service report audits and follow up on incomplete or critical tasks

• Act as the first responder for client and contractor queries

• Multitask effectively under high-pressure, deadline-driven conditions


To be successful in the role you will:


• Have high-level administration and data entry skills, with proficiency in Excel and MS Office

• Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with stakeholders

• Have full working rights in Australia

• Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to work

• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role
