Travel to Remote Locations
As part of this role, you may be required to travel to support training delivery in remote and regional areas. High-demand locations include Townsville, Cairns, Thursday Island, and Mount Isa. These placements offer a unique opportunity to make a real difference in communities where skilled health professionals are urgently needed. Travel allowances and additional incentives may apply for these locations.

a. You will need to have one or more of the below Vocational competencies to be considered:
- First Aid - HLTAID009, HLTAID011, HLTAID012, HLTAID013, HLTAID014, HLTAID015, UETDRRF004
- HLT23221 Cert II Health Support Services
- HLT33115 Cert III Health Services Assistant
- CHC33021 Cert III Individual Support (Ageing / Disability)
- HLT33021 Cert III Allied Health Assistant
- HLT43021 Cert IV Allied Health Assistant
- HLT37315 Cert III Health Administration
- HLT47321 Cert IV Health Administration
- HLT57715 Diploma of Practice Management
- HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing
- be an Enrolled Nursing or Registered Nurse, or Allied Health Professional
b. Possession of one of the following training and assessment credentials:
- TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
- TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
- TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
- TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; or
- TAE50111 TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or
- TAE50211 or TAE Diploma of Training Design and Development; or
- A secondary teaching qualification and one of the following credentials:
i. TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor; or
ii. TAESS00011 or TAESS00019 Assessor Skills Set or its successor; or
- Higher level qualification in adult or vocational education (approved by TAFE Queensland)
c. Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;
d. Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
e. Evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment.
