Term: Full Time

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 + KPI (negotiable)

The Rechabite.

The Rechabite is a multi-level hospitality and entertainment complex located on William Street at the

nexus between the Northbridge Entertainment Precinct and the Perth Cultural Centre.

Programs presented across The Rechabite's four levels occur year-round alongside a wide array of

cultural, festival and food and beverage programs delivered with other hospitality and cultural

partners.

Our aspiration is for The Rechabite to be renowned as a centre of surprise and delight, a multi-

level/multi-use complex that across its various dynamic spaces provides year-round engagement

with the widest and wildest variety of cultural and hospitality offerings, aligning with existing

programming across the precinct whilst presenting something vibrant and new.

Overview of the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Production Manager's key focus is effective forward planning,

coordination and future growth of production across the venue; developing and executing vision for

how we will deliver and evolve the in-venue experience for artists and audiences alike.

The role requires strong organisation, time management and communication skills;

as the key point of contact for production and technical requirements at the venue, polished written

and verbal communication skills are a pre-requisite.

Day-to-day tasks include the management of logistic and production requirements including

equipment, infrastructure and scheduling technical staff / external contractors.

The role works closely with the Technical Coordinator, Program Managers, FOH Supervisor and

other support positions.

Reporting and Scheduling

As the role involves a mix of hands-on operational duties alongside administration, a degree of

independence is given to the position in terms of work-flow scheduling and on-site contact hours.

Weekly work scheduling is driven by the role in line with the venues operational requirements and

signed off by the General Manager. Regular weekend availability is anticipated to be necessary.

JOB DESCRIPTION – SENIOR PRODUCTION MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with the programming team and booking clients to advance all aspects of production in

a timely manner with an eye to client budget and expectations.

• Effectively manage venue resources to ensure the successful execution of events in line overall

budget targets for the venue as well as the production department.

• Ensure effective scheduling of third party equipment logistics, client bump ins/outs and other time

sensitive tasks within performance spaces.

• Oversee production requirements for events at the venue including bump in, testing and operating

equipment and filling operator shifts as required.

• Lead the production team, ensuring team cohesion, training and ongoing professional development.

• Oversee regular maintenance of equipment, inventory records, technical specification documents

and production SOPs.

• Present as a key face for The Rechabite, embracing the culture of the building, contributing

positively to our overall team.

• Contribute to the ongoing development of The Rechabite's unique cultural programming, in

particular ensuring production elements are competitive and meet or exceed the industry standard.

• Undertake any other work-related tasks which may reasonably be required from time to time as

requested by the General Manager.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to multitask and work autonomously.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and support casual technical staff.

• Excellent communication & client relationship management skills.

• Extensive experience overseeing technical audio operations across diverse live performance

settings.

• Comprehensive experience with professional sound systems, mixing consoles, and stage setups.

• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot technical issues, at times under pressure.

• Experience in lighting, visuals and FX highly desirable.

• Comprehensive knowledge of OH&S policies and procedures, with a consistent commitment to

promoting and ensuring a safe workplace for all.
