Our client is a rapidly growing D2C brand that offers innovative feeding products for babies and children. Born in 2020 as an Aussie family run start up, this business has experienced exponential growth in the last few years, and continues to expand globally. Their mission is to empower families to enjoy stress-free mealtimes and raise happy, healthy eaters. Their hero product has been heralded as a "game changer" and "MUST HAVE" baby product, trusted by over 50,000 parents across 60 countries.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated
Product Developer
to lead the design and development of a new range of baby and toddler products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess product feasibility and identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Lead the redesign and development of a range of feeding and baby related products, ensuring quality, safety and innovation.
  • Lead negotiations with the factory and conduct commercial feasibility.
  • Collaborate closely with our marketing and production teams to ensure product concepts meet customer needs and market trends.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from initial concept to final production, including prototyping and testing.
  • Work with our manufacturers, ensuring designs are feasible for production and meet quality and safety standards.
  • Stay updated on safety regulations and industry standards, particularly in the baby and children's products market.

To be successful in this role:

  • Proven experience in product development, ideally in the baby products market or related fields.
  • Understanding of design processes, including CAD software and prototyping.
  • Knowledge of materials (e.g. silicone, bamboo).
  • Familiarity with safety regulations for baby and children's products (e.g. ASTM, EN71).
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple product timelines simultaneously.
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
