Overview

Catchy are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Product Developer to lead the design and development of a new range of baby and toddler products.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, redesign, and development of baby and toddler products, with a focus on quality, safety, and innovation.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation, differentiation, and feasibility.
  • Manage the end-to-end product development process, from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality benchmarks.
  • Manage relationships with international manufacturing partners, particularly in Asia, including negotiations and commercial feasibility assessments.
  • Oversee product testing, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Serve as the company's product expert, addressing internal and external product-related enquiries.
  • Coordinate product user trials, online surveys and focus groups to validate concepts and refine designs.
  • Maintain comprehensive product documentation, including SKUs, barcodes, and technical details.
  • Support the marketing team in product launches, messaging, and asset development to maximise sales potential.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in end-to-end product development.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of overseeing multiple product timelines simultaneously.
  • Creativity and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation.
  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
  • Experience working with international manufacturers and suppliers, particularly in Asia.
  • Knowledge of materials such as silicone, stainless steel and plastic and a strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards for baby and children's products (e.g., ASTM, EN71).
