Product Developer Role

This position is ideal for an ambitious and driven individual who is passionate about product development and commercialization. As a Junior Buyer, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Buyer in developing, planning, and delivering products that meet brand and commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assortment Planning: Assist the Senior Buyer in planning and selecting product lines to ensure alignment with brand and commercial objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct sales trend analysis, competitor research, and customer insights to inform product decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Design and Production teams to deliver products on time and within budget.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with Planning to track product performance, manage inventory levels, and identify potential opportunities or risks.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate product master data files and contribute to product presentations and buying reports.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in meetings with Marketing, E-Commerce, and Supply Chain teams to commercialize product ranges.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Qualification: A degree in fashion, business, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
  • Buying Experience: Previous experience in a buying assistant or junior buyer role, ideally within footwear, leathergoods, or fashion.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills when managing product data and reporting.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proactivity: Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and develop new skills in a fast-paced environment.
