Catchy is a rapidly growing D2C brand that offers innovative feeding products for babies and children. Born in 2020 as an Aussie family run start up, Catchy has experienced exponential growth in the last few years, and continues to expand globally. Their mission is to empower families to enjoy stress-free mealtimes and raise happy, healthy eaters. Their hero product has been heralded as a "game changer" and "MUST HAVE" baby product, trusted by over 50,000 parents across 60 countries.

Catchy are seeking an experienced and highly motivated
Product Developer
to lead the design and development of a new range of baby and toddler products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct
    market research
    and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation, differentiation, and feasibility.
  • Lead the design, redesign, and developmen
    t of baby and toddler products, with a focus on quality, safety, and innovation.
  • Manage the
    end-to-end product development process
    , from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality benchmarks.
  • Manage relationships with international manufacturing partners, particularly in Asia, including
    negotiations
    and
    commercial feasibility assessments
    .
  • Oversee product testing, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Serve as the company's
    product expert
    , addressing internal and external product-related enquiries.
  • Coordinate product user trials, online surveys and focus groups to validate concepts and refine designs.
  • Maintain comprehensive product documentation, including SKUs, barcodes, and technical details.
  • Support the marketing team in product launches, messaging, and asset development to maximise sales potential.

To be successful in this role:

  • Proven experience in end to end product development.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of overseeing multiple product timelines simultaneously.
  • Creativity and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a passion for innovation.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
  • Experience working with international manufacturers and suppliers, particularly in Asia.
  • Knowledge of materials such as silicone, stainless steel and plastic and a strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards for baby and children's products (e.g., ASTM, EN71).
