Located near West Wyalong in central New South Wales, Cowal is a residential site where we encourage our people to live nearby and enjoy the close-knit communities and lifestyles of the surrounding areas.

This roster is 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off and a 12 hour day.

About the Role

As a Processing Shift Supervisor at Evolution Mining's Cowal Operation, you'll be at the heart of our processing team, leading from the front to ensure safety, performance, and quality are never compromised. Reporting to the Processing Superintendent, this role offers a dynamic blend of leadership, technical oversight, and cross-departmental collaboration.

What sets this role apart?

• You'll be the key driver of daily operational KPIs, from throughput to recovery and reagent control.
• You'll play a hands-on role in equipment shutdowns, isolations, and pastefill delivery to underground operations.
• You'll lead and mentor a team of operators and contractors, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Beyond managing shifts, this position empowers you to foster a high-performing team and contribute meaningfully to a top-tier Australian gold mining operation.

About You

You bring a wealth of hands-on experience from large-scale, automated gold processing operations: whether it's leading shift teams, managing shutdowns, or fine-tuning circuit reliability. You've likely worked with industry leaders and you're well-versed in the systems and standards that drive high-performance sites.

Your qualifications complement your practical knowledge of SCADA/DCS systems, SAP/Pronto, and equipment isolation procedures. You've spent years on the ground, making real-time decisions that balance safety, productivity, and cost-efficiency.

But beyond your technical skills, you're someone who leads with purpose. You remain calm under pressure, curious about how things work and how they can work better, and deeply committed to your team, your equipment, and the outcomes you deliver.
