About the role 

As an SPP Senior Associate you are a crucial project team member who is entrusted with significant responsibility from the start. You will contribute to all aspects of project delivery and client engagement.

As an SPP Senior Associate you are a crucial project team member who is entrusted with significant responsibility from the start. You will contribute to all aspects of project delivery and client engagement. Examples of your tasks include: 

  • Gathering data and conduct research 
  • Building financial and analytical models 
  • Analysing and synthesising data quantitatively and qualitatively to generate insights 
  • Benchmarking and analyse industry issues and markets 
  • Collaborating with SPP colleagues on proposals and tenders 
  • Creating materials for stakeholder engagement 
  • Conducting interviews and support client workshops 
  • Developing actionable recommendations with team members 
  • Preparing high-quality written reports (usually in MS PowerPoint). 

Who We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a professional services or corporate head-office role with a minimum of two years of industry experience, including exposure to some consulting toolkit skills—particularly report writing, quantitative modelling, and the use of visual aids. Prior consulting experience is highly regarded. 
  • Exposure with hypothesis-driven strategic problem-solving and at least some exposure to top-down thinking methodologies  
  • A Bachelor's and/or higher degree qualification in a relevant area. For example, but not limited to - Business, Commerce, Engineering, Arts, Law, and Science. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable working with numbers and data, bringing a strong focus on detail and delivering clear, actionable insights through well-documented reports and presentations. 
  • Effective communicators who enjoy engaging with clients across various mediums and are eager to develop their presentation skills. You should be comfortable presenting ideas and insights clearly and confidently, with a strong desire to grow in this area as you progress in your career. 
  • Pragmatic high-achievers who strive for top-tier results while maintaining a practical, outcome-driven approach. 
  • Team-oriented individuals who can work well with others and build relationships across different levels. 
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and PowerBI, to create reports, presentations, and data insights.
