We're on the lookout for a Compliance Coordinator to join our Driver Training & Compliance Division - someone who's detail-driven, proactive, and ready to play a key role in maintaining and improving our compliance, safety, and quality systems.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Head of Driver Training & Compliance, this role supports the continued growth of our compliance framework across people, fleet, and process. You'll assist with audits, investigations, training compliance, and system improvement initiatives -helping ensure we maintain the highest standards under NHVAS, COR, and internal quality systems.

Key Responsibilities

Quality System & Compliance

  • Support the continuous improvement of Sargeant Transports quality and compliance systems.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvement.
  • Monitor workforce and training compliance metrics.
  • Assist with investigations into non-compliance events.
  • Ensure documentation and procedures remain current and effective.

Audits

  • Conduct and assist with scheduled internal and external audits (NHVAS, COR, site compliance).
  • Maintain audit records, prepare supporting documentation, and track outcomes and actions.
  • Support the coordination of audit schedules and reporting.

Training

  • Assist with compliance and driver training module updates.
  • Track, log, and maintain training records across all depots and driver teams.
  • Liaise with drivers, trainers, and managers to ensure training completion and compliance.

About You

You'll bring a strong attention to detail and a practical understanding of compliance in a transport or logistics environment. You thrive in a fast-paced team, love processes and data, and can confidently communicate across all levels of the business.

You'll also have:

  • Experience in transport, logistics, or compliance coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems and compliance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Self-motivation with a collaborative mindset.
  • A passion for continual improvement and professional development.
