Purearth Foods is proudly an independent and Australian family-owned manufacturer of premium dairy and plant-based beverages. Established in 2017, we operate one of the most advanced UHT and ESL beverage manufacturing facilities in Australia, supplying both domestic and export markets.

We're entering our next phase of growth and are looking for a people leader to help us shape the future of our workforce and culture.


The Role

We are seeking a strategic Head of HR to shape and drive our people agenda while maintaining a practical connection to day-to-day operations. Reporting to the CEO and a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead HR strategy across recruitment, culture, performance, compliance, development, and safety. You'll partner closely with leadership and the Board as required to ensure our workforce is engaged, high-performing, and aligned to business growth objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and growth.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, workforce planning, and talent management initiatives.
  • Manage performance, reward, and recognition frameworks.
  • Advise the leadership team on employee relations, and HR policies.
  • Drive culture, engagement, and recognition programs that reinforce business priorities.
  • Oversee HR systems, compliance, and governance frameworks.
  • Partner with HSE to maintain a safe, positive, and compliant workplace.
  • Design and coordinate training, development, and succession planning.

About You

  • Proven HR leadership experience in manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian employment law, awards, and compliance.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Excellent communicator, able to influence and build trust across all levels.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable leading in a lean, fast-growing business.
