Sheetmetal Worker position has become available for someone with experience.

Job Description:

  • Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
  • Sheetmetal Welder with experience in Mig welding 1.5mm – 2.0mm – (Custom Built Electrical Switchboard Fabrication an advantage).
  • Quality Assurance with examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision
  • Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments
  • Observe or monitor objects to determine compliance with prescribed operating or safety standards.
  • Maintain workplace safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to work unsupervised but also in a team environment
  • Daily maintenance of welding machines and hand tools.
  • Reports directly to management & production supervisor.

Essential Requirements:

  • Mig Welding or Welding Trade Worker
  • Current drivers' licence
  • An ability to read & understand drawings
  • A professional personality
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
