About the role:
Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, Fleetwood's Welders play a key role within our manufacturing and build process. Our welders are an integral part of our team and are responsible for the delivery of high-quality work across a range of Fleetwood projects.
This position will be based out of our Smithfield facility. The position will work Mon-Fri with the option to work Saturday's available at times.
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
- Construction of building frames in accordance with plans
- Maintaining high standards of quality
- Operation of machinery and/or equipment
- Following work health and safety policies and procedures at all times
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within individual work areas
- Performance of non-trade tasks as required.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Experience working as a Welder in a construction and/or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read/ interpret plans and specifications to determine dimensions, materials required and installation processes
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Construction Induction Card.
