About the role:

Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, Fleetwood's Welders play a key role within our manufacturing and build process. Our welders are an integral part of our team and are responsible for the delivery of high-quality work across a range of Fleetwood projects.

This position will be based out of our Smithfield facility. The position will work Mon-Fri with the option to work Saturday's available at times.

The key responsibilities of the role are to:

• Construction of building frames in accordance with plans
• Maintaining high standards of quality
• Operation of machinery and/or equipment
• Following work health and safety policies and procedures at all times
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within individual work areas
• Performance of non-trade tasks as required.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

• Relevant trade qualifications
• Experience working as a Welder in a construction and/or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read/ interpret plans and specifications to determine dimensions, materials required and installation processes
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Construction Induction Card.
