About You
  • Prior experience and knowledge in supporting individuals with mental health needs, and managing challenging behaviours.
  • Demonstrates patience, emotional resilience, effective listening skills, with adaptable communication techniques and cultural considerations
  • Strong ability to advocate for others and develop sustainable support networks.
  • Capable of making a positive impact both independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Resilient, with the ability to adapt to challenges and remain focused under pressure
  • Proficient in using IT systems on both computer and mobile platforms.
About the Role

The role entails:
  • Provide 1:1 or 2:1 support for consumers in residential, SIL and community settings
  • Meet the consumers' needs according to established behavioural support plans
  • Developing professional relationships with consumers, their care team and others in the community
  • Providing accurate and timely case notes so that others can provide a consistent experience for consumers
  • Provide support to assist consumers to work towards their individual goals
