Justin Lane Establishment are preparing for the summer and we are looking to recruit a range of staff

Since we started in 2011, our humble little Burleigh Heads pizzeria has grown into a popular, multi-level restaurant, bar and event space on the Gold Coast.

Eat, drink & be messy. That's our motto here at JL. We pride ourselves on the quality of our food and drink menus. From our famous pizza and pasta – right through to our signature cocktails and curated selection of wines and beers.

Justin Lane's famous pizza and pasta is all handmade in house. Our pizzas are made using a sourdough base (better for your digestion and delicious). We pride ourselves on keeping things simple and focussing on the quality of ingredients that we use.

We also pride ourselves on positive team culture and a rewarding working environment with plenty of room to grow for the right candidates. We have a number of positions currently on offer.

KITCHEN

We are currently seeking experienced chefs with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working in professional kitchens, specifically focusing on dough production and pizza making. The ideal candidates will be passionate about creating high-quality dough and crafting delicious pizzas while maintaining consistency and adhering to our standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce a variety of doughs for pizza bases, bread, and other baked goods.
• Execute precise techniques in shaping, stretching, and topping pizzas to ensure optimal taste and presentation.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine dough recipes and pizza offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation following food safety standards and regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels of stock.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of dough fermentation, proofing, and baking techniques.
• Proficiency in hand-stretching dough and shaping pizza bases to various sizes and styles.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

TAKEAWAY

Justin's takeaway has become a Burleigh institution. What's better than our famous sourdough pizza on the beach or at home? We are looking for an experienced hands to help manage the shop, preparing food and dealing directly with customers and staff. 

BARTENDERS

We looking for experienced bartenders to add to our tight-knit team

We are one of the Gold Coast's favorite cocktail outlets situated in the heart of the Burleigh Heads dining precinct. For over 10 years we have been serving up signature cocktails for locals and tourists alike.

We are currently on the hunt for some new talent to add to our team of rockstars. Experience in cocktails and high-volume bars will be highly regarded but we love to train up our team members and there is plenty of room to develop for the right candidates.

The successful applicant must have;

• Minimum 1 year hospitality experience
• Plenty of energy and a positive attitude
• Experience in high volume bars highly regarded
• Strong cocktail and product also highly regarded
• RSA

FOH

If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working as part of a close knit team then we have the opportunity for you. We specialise in a fast paced, high quality environment in a restaurant renowned for some of the best food and cocktails on the coast. Plenty of hours for the right candidates, some experience is necessary but we are always happy to teach and develop the right person for the job.

All applicants should be able to demonstrate experience in their chosen area, preferably within a high turnover, fast paced environment. Current RSA is also a must. Above all else we are looking for people with the right personalities to complement our growing team of hospitality superstars
